{Sweet Celebrations} Countdown Gender Reveal

This week's Sweet Celebration comes from the ever amazing blog, Hostess With The Mostess and it is without a doubt the most unique Gender Reveal I've ever seen!

This party was put together by Sarah of Indianapoluxe and is simply timeless. Gender reveal parties are a way for an expecting couple to reveal the gender of their little bundle of joy.

This party brought together the powerful countdown to a New Year, in glittering golds and silvers, and the joy of a new baby in all the classic pink and blues!

The spread included a hot chocolate bar, and cookie cocktails.

I loved the reoccurring theme of clocks and chalkboards on all the decor elements.

But my favorite part of this sweet celebration: the actual reveal.

The couple had the gender of their baby sealed in an envelope by their doctor and bought both pink and blue fireworks. When the time was right, a trusted friend opened the envelope, and lit off the corresponding color of fireworks.

Just look at the excitement on their faces!
