A Sincere Compliment

One thing I take great pride in is my ability to make people laugh.

I've always been the funny girl, the quirky, loud one, with the unbelievable comedic timing--even if it's not always the most appropriate humor. (One Easter as my family sat down for grace I recited the entire "Dear Sweet Little Baby Jesus" prayer from Talladaga Nights at the table much to the displeasure of my mother.)

Today my mom forwarded me an email from family at Caroline's wedding, and this was the tag at the end:

Getting compliments like this just make my day and remind me that it's always better to be a person people want to BE around, rather than a person people want to be seen with.

...Even though I have always been really really ridiculously good looking.

Always.

Thanks for looking!
